Springfield, Missouri’s top cleaning service, Brokate Janitorial has grown considerably over the years thanks to the hard-work and commitment to quality from every member of our cleaning team. Every member of management started out by spending years cleaning inside facilities in the Springfield, MO area, learning the business from the ground up. Below is some information about management at Brokate Janitorial.

Margie Brokate
President & Goodwill Ambassador

Margie is the founder of Brokate Janitorial and has witnessed the company grow from 2 members (including herself) to over 24 members strong in 2012. While having responsibilities over every facet of the business over the years, Margie currently works with each member of management in their roles, and serves as the company’s Goodwill Ambassador. In this role, Margie has helped Brokate Janitorial raise thousands of dollars for local charities such as Jesus Was Homeless and Relay for Life. She has also helped collect blankets, coats and other winter gear to giveaway to those in need. Additionally, she serves as a member of the Stone County Ozark Mountain Legacy group and helped Stone County expand recycling efforts greatly in 2012 with the new EarthWise Recycling Center. Margie continues to look for ways for Brokate Janitorial to become involved in the community, to give back to the people and area that have been so good to Brokate Janitorial over the years. She is currently involved in Jesus Was Homeless and is a member of the Ozark Mountain Legacy Group working to increase recycling efforts in Stone County.
Cheyne Brokate
Vice President of Operations
Cheyne has been around the janitorial industry most of his life, beginning when his parents first started Brokate Janitorial in Southern California in the 1980s. After moving to Missouri in 1995, the family again started up Brokate Janitorial in Missouri. Since that time, Cheyne’s role within the company has continued to grow as he transitioned from cleaner, to Account Manager, to Operations Manager, to his current role as Vice President of Operations. Since 2005, Cheyne has revolutionized every aspect of how Brokate Janitorial approaches its’ janitorial services and continues to work towards improving our level of quality service, customer communication and streamlined processes. He was instrumental in making Brokate Janitorial the only regional janitorial company to be able to prove cleaning standards with the implementation of our digital quality control program. Cheyne has been certified in Bloodborne Pathogens, IICRC Certified (Carpet Cleaning Certification) and is involved in numerous Global Cleaning and Janitorial groups to continually work to improve the JanSan Industry.
Jeremy Brokate
Executive Vice President
Jeremy’s involvement in the janitorial industry began exactly like Cheyne’s (Jeremy and Cheyne are brothers), but took on a very different direction and focus. In 2000, Jeremy took on a 4-year temporary break from Brokate Janitorial to focus on obtaining a college degree. In 2005, Jeremy returned to Brokate Janitorial with his Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from Missouri Southern State University, with a major in Finance. He used the skills and information learned in college to help take the company to the next level by improving the organizational and financial tracking procedures. These changes have allowed Brokate Janitorial to minimize costs and maintain a competitive edge in pricing for the company’s high quality services. Jeremy has been instrumental in bringing Brokate Janitorial in the 21st Century, with involvement in numerous social media and web platforms.
Tony Varnadore
Operations Manager
Tony Varnadore came to Brokate Janitorial with an impressive background and quickly used his past experiences to implement numerous improvements to the company operations. In his previous work experiences, he managed over 120 employees in various projects including janitorial and warehouse/stocking services for the Federal Government. Tony has a Masters Degree from Assemblies of God and is scheduled to complete his Doctorate Degree PHD from Trinity University in 2013. Tony also served 16 years in the United States Army, where he commanded and managed soldiers in the 809th Transportation Detachment. He also served 6 years in Special Operations in Fort Benning, Georgia. Tony has used these experiences to streamline the company structure and processes, bringing an immediate boost to the companies productivity.
In his personal life, Tony is a preacher that has helped build and grow several churches in Southwest Missouri. With his experience, education and dedication, Tony is positioning Brokate Janitorial to tackle any project that comes along, while maintaining the highest level of quality standards for our existing customers.
Arlon Meisch
Project and Quality Control Manager

Arlon Meisch came to Brokate Janitorial after 21 years of experience working for Engine Power Components; where he operated, maintained and ensured the quality of various industrial and computer controlled machinery. The experience of operating a wide-variety of equipment and machinery, and also ensuring the accuracy and quality of it, helped make Arlon a perfect fit for Brokate Janitorial. Over the years, Arlon has been responsible for managing countless cleaning crews as he oversaw the cleaning at various facilities where he learned the ins and outs of the janitorial industry. From there, Arlon took his previous experience and used that to play an integral role in employee training, on-going training and heading up our Quality Control Program. His focus is to not only improve customer satisfaction, but employee satisfaction as well by correcting small issues before they become problems. His extra set of eyes in each facility ensures customers are not only getting the highest level of quality cleaning possible, but also the peace of mind that a member of Brokate Janitorial management is working solely to ensure the work is being done consistently. With our Quality Control Program going digital, Arlon is able to provide an additional level of quality and communication with all aspects of our cleaning service.
In 2010, he was the recipient of the annual Iron Man Award given for member who displayed the highest level of consistent quality work. Arlon is also IICRC Certified (Professional Carpet Cleaning Designation), and has completed hundreds of projects(floor work, construction cleaning and carpet cleaning)for new and existing businesses in Southwest Missouri.
